The prime minister of Montenegro Dritan Abazovic announced through his facebook page the construction of a demolished old hotel Galeb in Ulcinj
Hotel Galeb, was a symbol of the city of Ulcinj, a place of the most beautiful memories for many generations of citizens, will finally begin to be built.
Privatization from 2006 was completed unsuccessfully, the investment was not realized, and the most difficult moment that will be remembered for all time is its demolition in 2008 (contrary to the agreed obligation).
Prime minister Abazovic added: Today, a full 16 years later, the Government confirmed the Agreement by which Galeb changed its owner and thus opened the door to a new investor to finally realize the project.
Thus, the conditions were finally met for Ulcinj to get a 5-star hotel in the most prestigious location in the heart of the city, which will operate under the management of some of the world’s most renowned hotel brands.
I believe that this is only the first in a series of large investments that will be launched in Ulcinj.

Prime Minister Abazovic did not say which world-famous brand will operate the future 5-star Galeb Hotel and whether the hotel will be called Galeb again.
But the news is truly wonderful, and the construction of a grand 5-star hotel on that ideal location for a 5 star hotel will change the face and future development of that part of the city of Ulcinj.
We expect to hear even better news for the construction of an even more exclusive hotel on the even more exclusive location of the former hotel Jadran, which was destroyed by a strong earthquake in 1979.
