Director of the Airports Montenegro Milovan Đuričković announced today the arrival of a new carrier for Rome and the arrival of Italian airline “Alitalia”.
I am pleased to announce that Alitalia starts to fly to Podgorica and Tivat airports and will perform its first flight today, 1st June. Flight is going to land in Podgorica at 11:10 h, and the return is scheduled for 12:00 h .
Đuričković announced major investments in the Airports in Montenegro, primarily the construction of a new terminal building in Tivat with support facilities, as well as the reconstruction of both the airport maneuvering area.
We are ready to announce the first tender for the design and construction of a new terminal building in Tivat with additional facilities. In an advanced stage of preparation are two tenders for the reconstruction and modernization of the entire maneuvering areas at both airports.We plan to in the next five- year period invest 40 million euros, and by 2020 , in the airports to invest 100 million euros, said Đuričkovic .
